Brexit Update / Briefing

Die-Pat are very aware of the concerns surrounding the deal / no deal Brexit scenario that businesses and consumers are facing currently in the UK.  With this in mind, we have put together some details to offer you, our customers, reassurance that we are doing everything possible to ensure an uninterrupted supply on standard stock lines.

Below are key points related to our preparations for Brexit:

Imports
  • Die-Pat have had an EORI number for many years now, this has been shared with all relevant European Partners
  • We are experienced in importing goods having sourced products globally for many years.
  • Tariffs, Import Duty and Deferment is something that our supply chain and accounts team are well versed in and handle on a daily basis.
  • The supply chain team are in dialogue with our transporters who are providing us with weekly updates regarding any changes we may experience and any actions we need to take.

Stock
  • Following a review of our products lines, we have increased our stock levels between 5% and 10% on certain products which we identified may cause an issue.
  • We do no envisage issues arising with supply as we are used to stocking standard lines in bulk in our 48,000 sq ft warehouse.

Movement of Goods

A major area of concern for many of our customers are the future arrangements governing the physical movement of goods across Euorpean borders.  Again, we want to assure our customers that we are working closely with our European Partners and Transporters to ensure we will have in place all necessary border information so that the delivery of goods is uninterrupted post-Brexit.
